
Jane Hlis
PT, CSCS, CEAS, RYT, Clinical Director/Owner
Jane is a 1986 graduate from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. She is a Licensed Physical Therapist, Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She is also a 200-hour Registered Yoga Instructor and a USPTA-certified professional Tennis Instructor. These combined certifications have allowed Jane the opportunity to work with professional and amateur athletes for both rehabilitation and performance enhancement.
With nearly 35 years of hands-on experience, her clinical knowledge in general orthopedics is extensive. It includes the areas of rotator cuff/shoulder injuries, balance and gait dysfunctions, knee reconstruction, and arthritis/post-joint replacements.
She has also received training in manual therapy for the extremities and the cervical and lumbar spine, including craniosacral therapy. She was most recently certified as a yoga instructor, actively teaches yoga in the Upper Keys community, and integrates her yoga training into her orthopedic physical therapy practice.
Her exposure to the Worker's Compensation arena in the areas of Functional Capacity Evaluations as well as work conditioning and case management has allowed her to excel in designing objective return-to-work programs. Her certification as an Ergonomic Assessment Specialist has allowed her to reach out to local businesses to perform work station assessments and job analyses to prevent injuries and ensure safe, productive work environments.
As Owner and Clinical Director of Atlantic SportCare, Jane is extremely patient-oriented and outcome-focused. Her extensive and diverse background in orthopedic rehabilitation and cutting-edge therapeutic techniques assures superior results at Atlantic SportCare. Jane also actively teaches yoga in the Upper Keys community as a certified yoga instructor.

Matt Allensworth
PT, DPT, CSCS
Matt Allensworth, PT, DPT, CSCS received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University in psychology in 2015 and then completed his doctorate of physical therapy degree at Ohio University Division of Physical Therapy in 2019. Most recently, Dr. Allensworth received his certification in strength and conditioning. He practiced in both the Tamp and Jupiter, Florida areas prior to recently moving near family in the Miami area .
Dr. Allensworth has a passion for orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, holistic care, preventative care and continued learning. He is excited to be practicing with Atlantic Sportcare delivering quality, exceptional, and individualized care for the local community. In his spare time, Matt enjoys boat, fishing, working out, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.

Omar Sanchez
BS PTA
Omar Sanchez received his BS degree in Sports and Exercise Science from University of Central Florida in 2013 and went on to become a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant after attending Miami Dade College Medical Campus in 2017.
His professional interest focuses on general orthopedics both surgical and non-surgical patients.
He works closely alongside our team of physical therapists at Atlantic SportCare, Inc. providing efficient and effective care to all patients. He is fluent in Spanish and English.

Samantha Vonnegut
PTA
Samantha received her BS degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina and went on to become a licensed physical therapist assistant after attending Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute.
Sam found her love for kinesiology through sports and continued it through college where she taught group fitness at the local wellness center. She has a passion for orthopedic rehabilitation and helping people to regain functionality through conservative modalities of physical therapy. Sam grew up in Islamorada and enjoys yoga, snowboarding, boating and being outdoors with her friends, family and her dog.
